Untitled Twitch Horror Game

As someone who streams a lot of horror games on Twitch, I love the idea of viewer interaction. This was my attempt to bring viewer interaction to a new level whilst keeping that horror feel.

This project was based in the same universe as The Morpheus Project, where you play directly as yourself, the streamer, who has been kidnapped by a group of dark web hackers trying to revive the long abandoned project.

The aim of the game is to escape the hackers. Using the computers found throughout the game, you must learn to hack the systems around you to solve puzzles to progress.

As the player progresses through the game, they are exposed to the transmission, in which they start to hallucinate and get “attacked” by dark entities.

The unique thing about this project was that everything you could do to the computers in the project, your viewers could do too, to any terminal in the game (if they know the device ID). This doesn’t necessarily mean that they have to help you, due to the fact that as you can only access terminals where you find them, viewers have permanent access to any terminal in game, meaning they can lock, unlock, hack or even disable entire systems and networks.
